A Wonderful Source For A Commissioned Oil Portrait For An Extremely Attractive Price
An oil portrait is an artistic representation of a person, where the face and its expression is predominant to the viewer. The artists intent is to portray the likeness and personality of the subject. For this reason, a portrait tends to be a composed image of a person in a still position. Portraits often show a person looking directly at the painter, in order to successfully engage the subject with the viewer.
I have a source that provides high quality original oil paintings of children, men, women, pets and other subjects. The artists paint the subject using a photo as a reference. The wonderful part is getting an "exceptionally fine quality oil painting at an affordable price."
My source offers a complete guarantee of satisfaction.
Capturing likeness of a subject is one of the most difficult tasks for an artist to master and being able
to do so in oil, the finest medium, is extraordinary. All of the portraits share three qualities that you will
find in the examples below. The artist captures and unmistakable likeness of the subject, the complexion of
the subject looks fresh and real, and the subject is a three-dimensional representation on a two-
dimensional canvas surface.

Wende Cragg's Applique' Creations
Appliqué is one of the oldest known art forms, dating back as far as 3,000 B.C. It is now almost a lost art. Thank goodness for Wende Cragg's talent!
Notice the rich textural details inspired by Old World Artisan Guilds in Wende's creations.
Notice the rich textural details inspired by Old World Artisan Guilds in Wende's creations.
Her designs are inspired mostly from the Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Arts & Crafts periods but she also will incorporate other traditional motifs into meticulously-executed window panels, pillows and table runners.
Her color palette hints of opulent jewel tones and the burnished metals.
A bit like marquetry or stained-glass inlay, the appliqued composition can be manipulated to achieve shading and depth by “angling” the silk, turning it at 45 degrees to create subtle variations of the same color.
Wende is a self-taught textile artist who has exhibited nationally for more than 35 years. She has been featured in numerous publications and is the recipient of dozens of awards. Her pieces are installed in residences from Italy to Hawaii and were recently included in the San Francisco Decorator Showcase.

one per page and per day of the month. (
Don't you love having flowers around the house?
Well, how clever is this little trick????
1. Choose a flower.
2. Place it as the cover.
3. Make a roll with all pages together.
4. Put it in a vase.
5. And of course, don't water it!
